Second Lay Biblical Counseling Class Completed

April 29, 2019 | Announcement

On April 9, we completed our second Lay Biblical Counseling Training class. We had 23 new students learning about issues such as suicide prevention, depression, marriage, the renewal of your mind, forgiveness, and identity. They learned how to better navigate the Bible in dealing with these top-ics. The students included school teachers, youth workers, Bible study teachers, Hospice care givers, and staff of House of Faith, the Pregnancy Help Center, Christian Job Corp, and Celebrate Recovery.

…to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.Ephesians 4:23-24
