A Three-Legged Stool (Ephesians 4:13)

April 29, 2019 | From Our Director

Paul tells us in Ephesians 4:13, “to equip the saints for the work of the ministry, for building up the body of Christ.” At CVBCC, we are committed to that purpose and calling to fulfill that vision. We have separated them out into three, but very equal im-portant areas. Imagine a three- legged stool. All three legs are equally important and necessary.

Biblical Counselling: We help individuals, families, and children dis-cover Biblical truth for life’s struggles and problems through the per-son of Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit, so that one can experience true healing and freedom. We provide individuals with counseling sessions regardless of their ability to pay.

Training: At CVBCC, we are committed to training and equipping pastors, leaders, missionaries, and schools to be better prepared to
help hurting people. We endeavor to teach lay Biblical counseling to help set Godly parameters in life. We instruct our students to recognize signs of chronic depression, stress, suicidal ideations, and prevention measures in each of these areas. We are committed to equip the saints to do the work of the ministries.

Pastoral Care: In this country, we are at a crisis state with the overall health of our people in full time minis-try. The latest statistics state that only ten percent of people who start out in ministry stay in ministry. The implication here is that ninety percent of people who start in the ministry exit long before retirement. We continue to provide Skype sessions with missionaries and ministers all over the world.

If you are in need of help in any of these areas, or know someone who is, please give us a call at (325) 234-5599 or email us
