Counseling StaffNot Licensed Professional Counselors
Since 2000, I’ve been working as a certified counselor who specializes in helping people cope with their issues. I coach my clients in a way that utilizes both their heads and their hearts. I first learned about coaching when I hit a roadblock in my own life and was struggling to move past it. The techniques I developed were so successful that friends and family began asking me for help with their own challenges. This motivated me to turn my newfound passion into a full-time career.
I am so excited to be a part of the CVBCC. I come from a background of sign language interpretation and special education teacher for SAISD for many years. I felt a strong calling to do the part of my job I always loved best which was listening and working to help kids handle their challenges. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education from Angelo State. I have now finished my degree in Biblical Counseling and am now pursuing a Masters from Liberty University. I have been married to an awesome guy for 36 years, and we have four precious children who are all teachers too. We have one beautiful granddaughter. God is allowing me to fulfill my dream and passion by helping those who are hurting and encourage them to turn their focus to Him! He is our hope!

My greatest blessings in life call me wife and mom. My husband is the Family Minister at a local church, and we have two boys. My undergrad degree is in Elementary Education, and I have worked in the education field for roughly 7 years. My graduate degree is in Human Services-Marriage and Family Counseling from Liberty University. I am passionate about helping others find HOPE in Jesus as they navigate the ups and downs this world brings.
I grew up in Germany and moved to Texas in 1991. I am married to my best friend, Mack. We have four sons and 5 grand kids. I started to volunteer at the Pregnancy Help Center of the Concho Valley in 2010. Ever since then, God has been leading me down the path of post-abortion counseling. Now I am a certified Life Coach and a certified Biblical Counselor. God opened the door to work at CVBCC this year. My heart has always been for the post-abortive woman. I love to see God break the chains of intimidation, fear, guilt, and shame in women who have been harmed by abortion. My favorite scripture is Psalm 46:10, “Be still and know that I am God.”
I grew up in DFW, so my country husband calls me a city girl. We have two, wild and happy little boys. I spend my free time playing dinosaurs, going to the park and eating candy as I hide in the bathroom. I have a background in education and children’s ministry. We moved back to San Angelo through a set of circumstances that could only have been designed by God. He started to reveal His plan for me in August of 2016. I was pursuing my degree in Counseling Ministries when God led me to the door of Donald Moon. I interned with him for a year and fell in love with showing people that God is the ultimate healer. After enjoying being a full-time boy mom for a few years, I am excited to be back on this team with Donald Moon now as our Director. My goal is to provide a safe place for people to share their hurts and struggles. I cannot wait to help you see what God has in store for you.
“Commit your work to the LORD, and your plans will be established.” Proverbs 16:3
Prior to being led to the field of Biblical Counseling, I have been blessed with two wonderful careers. After a twenty-year career in the United States Air Force and eighteen years in elementary education, I felt called to pursue my Christian counseling certification in 2019. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Angelo State University and an Advanced Certificate in Biblical Counseling through the American Association of Christian Counselors with a Specialization in Addiction and Recovery. With nearly twenty years in recovery from alcoholism myself … it is my heart’s desire to assist others through God’s Word, with His power to break free from the grip of addiction and other barriers holding them back from a Christ-centered life. “When a person taps into Holy Power, it changes everything.” Tim Clinton
“Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.” 2 Corinthians 3:17
I am so excited to be on the team at CV Biblical Counseling. It is an answer to my prayer to God to put me where He wants to use me at this time. I am a mother to my daughter and a grandmother of three. After attending the school of hard knocks, I felt God’s leading me through 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 which says, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Mercies and the God of All Comfort, who comforts us in our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the same comfort.” I have received certification for Biblical counseling through the American Association of Christian Counselors and want to help others process through brokenness and find hope.
bryce blessing, M. Ed.
At the age of eighteen, I weighed 275 pounds. I had gained weight consistently since childhood when I was put on the Ketogenic diet. Although the diet stopped seizures that were a side effect caused by cerebral palsy, it left me heavier than I ever wanted to be. I immediately started dieting and exercising and trying to lose weight. Through trial, error, and a lot of research, I was able to teach myself how to take care of my body. My passion for health and wellness has since infiltrated my life. Through Angelo State in 2017, I obtained my M.Ed. in Coaching, Sport, Recreation and Fitness Administration. I now work as a Health Coach, where I have helped over two hundred people lose over twenty-one thousand pounds altogether. My success and ability to teach others about health is a gift from God. He has given me a great opportunity to walk this journey with people who do not know where to begin or how to stay consistent. I love the Lord. I love my wife and boys. I have a passion for health, wellness, and fitness. And I cannot wait to glorify God through this ministry.
Born and raised in Texas, my blessings include being a wife to an amazingly patient husband and a mom to 2 humans and 3 dogs. Needless to say, my life is never boring and my house is never clean. I’ve recently been in a period of self-development and waiting. Wanting to be more involved in my church, do God’s work and have better control to four family’s finances, I was led to join, then help coordinate, FPU. Since then God has blessed my family and me while also opening my eyes and heart to my true purpose. I want to walk with others so they can experience the hope, peace, and freedom having a financial plan that works can bring to their lives. Being better stewards of the money God’s allowed us to earn opens the door for us to live our His true purpose for us! I would love to start a journey toward financial peace with you!

Director of Administration
I grew up in southern California, but please don’t hold that against me. I got here as soon as I could! I have been blessed with a wonderful husband and 2 great kids. I graduated from Westmont College with a BA in Liberal studies and went on to get my teaching credential and Master of Science degree from National University. After teaching elementary, pre-school, and working with kids in therapeutic foster care, we were able to start our family and I was able to stay at home to raise our children. I have always been involved in women’s ministry, Bible study, and teaching Sunday School. With Administration as one of my Spiritual Gifts, I feel privileged to be able to work in the office here at CVBCC.
God has led me to do so many different types of ministering through the years that I consider myself to be a jack-of-all-ministries. I’ve been a van driver, a greeter, a women’s Bible study leader, and a pastoral counselor at different times in my local church. I’ve been a group leader, a teacher, a promoter, and a scheduler as part of a local Celebrate Recovery ministry. I asked God one time exactly what part of the Body of Christ He had created me to be, and I believe that He told me that I am a blood cell. Blood cells carry life-giving agents to other cells in the Body and carry harmful toxins away from other cells, and blood cells move quickly in and out and through the body never staying in one place for too long. I am beyond blessed that, for such a time as this, God has currently positioned me in the ministry of the CV Biblical Counseling Center.
