Donald Moon
Director of Operations & Counselor
Since 2000, I’ve been working as a Certified Counselor who specializes in helping people cope with their issues. My counseling encourages clients to utilize both their heads and their hearts when it comes to dealing with everyday issues. I first learned about counseling when I struggled to move past a roadblock in my own life. The techniques I developed were so successful that friends and family began asking me for help with their challenges. This motivated me to turn my newfound passion into a full-time ministry. I spend the bulk of my time as the Director of Operations and counseling leaders in the church, community, and those around the world serving as missionaries.

Johnna Sandor, ms
Director of Administration
I grew up in southern California, but please don’t hold that against me. I got here as soon as I could and I didn’t bring anything with me! The Lord has blessed me with a wonderful husband and 2 great kids. I graduated from Westmont College with a BA in Liberal studies and went on to get my teaching credential and Master of Science from National University. After teaching elementary, pre-school, and working with kids in therapeutic foster care, we were able to start our family and I was able to stay at home to raise our children. I have always been involved in women’s ministry, Bible study, and teaching Sunday School. With administration as one of my Spiritual Gifts, I feel privileged to be able to serve the Counseling Center in that area.

I am so excited to be a part of CV Biblical. I come from a background of sign language interpretation and was a special education teacher for SAISD for many years. I felt a strong calling to do the part of my job I always loved best which was listening and working to help kids handle their challenges. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education from Angelo State, finished my degree in Biblical Counseling, and am now pursuing a Masters from Liberty University. I am married to an awesome guy. We have four precious children who are all teachers too. In addition, we have three beautiful grandchildren. God is allowing me to fulfill my dream and passion by helping those who are hurting and encourage them to turn their focus to Him! He is our hope!

Lou McLemore
Counselor
I grew up in Germany and moved to Texas in 1991. I am married to my best friend, Mack. We have four sons and nine grandchildren. I started as a volunteer at the Pregnancy Help Center of the Concho Valley in 2010. Ever since then, God has been leading me down the path of post-abortion counseling and biblical counseling. Now I am a certified Life Coach and a certified Biblical Counselor. God opened the door to work at CV Biblical Counseling in 2019. My heart has always been for the post-abortive woman and now I counsel women who are broken for other reasons as well. I also counsel couples through pre-marital and marriage counseling. I love to see God break the chains of intimidation, fear, guilt, and shame in women who have been harmed by abortion and other negative experiences. My favorite scripture is Psalm 46:10, “Be still and know that I am God.”

Cassie Blessing
Counselor
I grew up in DFW, so my country husband calls me a city girl. We have two, wild and happy little boys. I spend my free time playing dinosaurs, going to the park, and eating candy as I hide in the bathroom. I have a background in education and children’s ministry. We moved back to San Angelo through a set of circumstances that could only have been designed by God. He started to reveal His plan for me in August of 2016. I was pursuing my degree in Counseling Ministries when God led me to the door of Donald Moon. I interned with him for a year and fell in love with showing people that God is the ultimate healer. After enjoying being a full-time boy mom for a few years, I am excited to be back on this team with Donald now as the Director of Operations. My goal is to provide a safe place for people to share their hurts and struggles. I cannot wait to help you see what God has in store for you.

I am so excited to be on the team at CV Biblical Counseling. It is an answer to my prayer to God to put me where He wants to use me at this time. I am a mother to my daughter and a grandmother of three. After attending the school of hard knocks, I felt God’s leading me through 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 which says, “Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of Mercies and the God of All Comfort, who comforts us in our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the same comfort.” I have received certification for Biblical counseling through the American Association of Christian Counselors and want to help others process through brokenness and find hope.

Claudia Meza
Bilingual Counselor
Quiero caminar a tu lado mientras estás lastimado.
-Santiago 1:2-4
I was born and raised in West TX. In 1991, I graduated from ASU and for the last forty years, I have served others through business and marketing, starting at the age of eleven. My biggest blessings are my daughter, son, and granddaughter. I was once hurt and broken with many heart aches and problems of this world, but now I have come full circle. My son and I have an active church life at Immanuel Baptist. I am a lover of Jesus and have found my real identity in Him … psst, I am a daughter of the KING and now it is my turn to give back. I want to walk beside you as you are hurting. You need to know that the healing power of Jesus Christ is an unexplainable joy. It is my prayer that you would allow me to comfort you with hope and freedom found only in the Lord. Together, let’s find the person God has designed you to be.
“Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” -James 1:2-4

Debra & Steve Lawhone
Marriage Counselors
We have been walking together with the Lord Jesus Christ for over twenty years. In 2021, we were married for thirty. For the first twelve years we did marriage our way and were headed directly to divorce lawyers. Someone who loved us very much convinced us to give our marriage to God. And we did! Since then, our life together has been beautiful because we have allowed God to lead us. He then led us to facilitate marriage classes, speak at retreats, and counsel truly hurting husbands and wives. Later, He led us to become licensed ministers. We now have four adult children, nine beautiful grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. We are so excited that the Lord has assigned and anointed us to help hurting marriages through Biblical counseling. We want to get in the trenches with you and equip you with the Word, so you are able to get out and stay out of the hurt. We could not have succeeded so sweetly on our own if God hadn’t sent us help all those years ago. Now it’s your turn to accept His help, thru us.

erica tribolet
Financial Coach, Counselor, & Administration
Born and raised in Texas, my blessings include being a wife to an amazingly patient husband and a mom to 2 humans and 3 dogs. Needless to say, my life is never boring and my house is never clean. I’ve recently been in a period of self-development and waiting. Wanting to be more involved in my church, do God’s work, and have better control to our family’s finances, I was led to join, and then help coordinate, Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace University. Because I like their system so much, I went on to pursue further training as a Financial Coach Master through Ramsey Solutions. Since then God has blessed my family and me while also opening my eyes and heart to my true purpose. I want to walk with others so they can experience the hope, peace, and freedom having a financial plan that works can bring to their lives. Being better stewards of the money God has allowed us to earn opens the door for us to live His true purpose for us! I would love to start a journey toward financial peace with you!

Having been born and raised in South Africa, I came to San Angelo in 1981. I was saved in 1982 at First Baptist, met my wife Gena, and we were married in 1983. We have two children and two grandchildren. I have a diploma in Telecommunications Maintenance, and I have a BA in Theology. Gena and I served in Africa as missionaries for the past 26 years with two different mission organizations. The first was Jesus Alive Ministries where I served as a pilot, flight engineer, and mechanic flying throughout Africa supplying missionaries, orphanages, and programs feeding children. I then moved to Samaria Mission, where I was in a leadership role and supervised short term mission trips into Mozambique. I was also involved in evangelism, church planting, church leadership, church development, and water well drilling. Gena and I have since returned to serve our community here in Texas however God would direct us. Because I have a heart for counseling, I am excited be apart of the staff at CV Biblical Counseling Center.

D. Eldon Snider, mre
Counselor
Married to my darling wife, Cynthia, and we have been blessed with four children and four grandchildren. We were brokenhearted to lose a son at the age of nineteen but, “The Lord has comforted His people and will have compassion upon them in their sorrow.” (Isaiah 49:13) Our loss has healed but the scar still remains. We were blessed to have him with us as long as we did!
My ministry goal is to be obedient to God’s call as a counselor by assisting individuals in finding resolution to life’s issues. Being on the staff of CV Biblical is an answer to prayer and the culmination of many years of ministry in service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I came to Him as my personal savior at the age of twelve and later accepted the call to ministry while a freshman at Southern Illinois University. Following the leadership of the Holy Spirit at semester’s end, I joined the USAF to work in the base chapel. After discharge, I used the GI Bill to graduate from William Jewell College with a B.A. in Religion and Business Administration. From there, I graduated from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Religious Education degree. Presently, I am working on my Doctorate in Christian Psychology of Counseling from Pillsbury-Scarborough College and Seminary.
I have always been open to the leadership of the Holy Spirit to do His will. This has led to nearly forty years of pastoral ministry which included six years as Director of Missions and over fifteen years counseling marriage, grief, and other types of personal issues. My counseling philosophy is to be a “facilitator” to the Wonderful Counselor.

Chris Dunbar
Life Recovery Group Leader
Prior to being led to the field of Biblical Counseling, I had been blessed with two wonderful careers, a twenty year career in the United States Air Force and eighteen years in the classroom as an elementary school teacher. I then felt called to pursue my Christian counseling certification in 2019. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Angelo State University and an Advanced Certificate in Biblical Counseling through the American Association of Christian Counselors with a Specialization in Addiction and Recovery. With nearly twenty years in recovery from an alcohol addiction myself … it is my heart’s desire to assist others through God’s Word. With His power, we all can break free from the grip of addiction and other barriers holding us back from a Christ-centered life. “When a person taps into Holy Power, it changes everything.” -Tim Clinton
